Welcome to My Journey

Embark on a virtual journey with me as I share captivating travel stories and experiences related to my adventures in Italy. From historical site visits to hidden gems, get ready to be inspired! I had a Villla in Barga starting in 1995, I am now in Borgo a Mozzano an amazing small village just a short distance from Lucca. I love to bring people to my area as it is not touisted yet. You still take your bottles back to the Vinery to refill with delicious local wine. I then spend time in Sechelt BC on the Sunshine Coast enjoying the quiet and hiking the Temperate Rain Forest. Additionally visiting the cities of Vancouver and Victoria, including wineries on Vancouver Island.  I live and experience some of the most beautiful and exciting places on the planet. Follow my blog as I share my journey or maybe sign up for one of my imspiring trips to the hidden gems of Italy.

Living in Borgo a Mozzano

Living in a small italian community is really an experience that is difficult to discribe. Waking up and having coffee with the sun streaming into my kitchen windows and having coffee while the train goes by, taking people to Lucca while the church bells chimes the time of day. Living in a non-tourist Italian community makes you feel alive and excited to embrace the day.

Barga: City of Art

My first Villa in this area was in the town of Barga. Considered one of the most beautiful small towns of Italy,  nestled in the Mountains but only 30 minutes to Lucca. Roman Aquaducts run through the town. This beautiful city has escaped the masses and remains a city of art, music and wonderful restaurants where you can enjoy the local food.
